As the requirement of smart grid network for reliability and operational flexibility, enhancing, development and change of the distribution network have turned out to be consistent. At any cost the interruption of supply should not be there. It should be avoided by implementing the various innovations through practical experiences. The impact of fault in any one of the feeders in 230 KV substations should not affect other feeders irrespective of radial and tie. A fault tolerant logic has been developed and implemented in a prototype experimental setup
