Statement of Mission
The goal of the Journal of Mechanics of Continua and Mathematical Sciences (JMCMS) is to promote and disseminate excellent, peer-reviewed research in all areas of mathematical sciences and continuum mechanics. Since its launch in 2006, JMCMS has provided a welcoming and easily accessible forum for researchers, scientists, and academics from all over the world to exchange original research articles, reviews, and brief communications.
Our goal is to:
- Encourage thorough and significant scientific research in the mathematical sciences and associated multidisciplinary domains.
- Facilitate the rapid and open dissemination of knowledge by maintaining an open-access publishing model.
- Maintain the highest standards of academic integrity by implementing a thorough peer-review procedure.
- act as an international platform that promotes scholarly discussion, creativity, and cooperation between the research, industry, and academic communities.
- Promote the growth of up-and-coming academics and aid in the ongoing development of applications of mathematical science.
Statement of Vision
Our goal is to become a globally renowned, interdisciplinary journal that influences continuum mechanics and the mathematical sciences in the future by:
- Establishing itself as a premier source of ground-breaking research that advances both theory and real-world applications.
- Granting everyone access to scientific knowledge in order to close gaps between various research communities across disciplinary and geographic borders.
- Designing standards for academic publishing’s scholarly excellence, openness, and inclusivity.
- Developing a vibrant and long-lasting environment that supports scholarly development, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the ethical sharing of research.
JMCMS hopes to inspire the upcoming generation of researchers and make lasting contributions to the international scientific community through our commitment to quality, transparency, and innovation.
